Ruby’s 5K Race and Halloween Fun Run – Part of The Kilmarnock Halloween Experience

Venue : Ayrshire Athletics Arena (AAA), Queens Drive, Kilmarnock, KA1 3XF

Date and Time : Sunday 30th October 2016.

Registration from 10.00. 1 Mile Fun Run starts at 11.00. 5K Road Race main start is at 11.30 (there will be a start for participants planning to walk the course at 11.15).
Cost : Fun Run £3 (no Entry Central fee), 5K £10( plus 60p Entry Central fee)

This is the 26th running of this event, held in memory of Ruby Young, one of Kilmarnock Harriers most popular members, and which has raised over £30000 for charity.

The mile fun run will be run on the track. All participants are encouraged to wear fancy dress for which there will be special prizes.The 5K is on a figure of 8 course starting and finishing on the track and incorporating roads and trails surrounding the AAA.

We regret the 5K course is not suitable for wheelchairs but wheelchair users are very welcome to participate in the fun run.

We have a limit of 250 for the 5K and 100 for the Fun Run. Entries on the day will only be accepted if these limits are not reached.
